Terms of service
These terms apply when you create a CloseQuotely account or use the service. By signing up, you agree to them. If you use CloseQuotely for a business, you agree on the business's behalf.
Your account
Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
Emailing your customers
CloseQuotely sends email in your name, so you agree to:
- Email only people you have a business relationship with or permission to contact, and record that permission truthfully.
- Not send spam, misleading content, or anything unlawful, and not use CloseQuotely for bulk or marketing campaigns.
- Honor unsubscribes. CloseQuotely stops follow-ups to anyone who opts out, and you must not try to get around that.
- Follow the email and consumer laws that apply to you and your customers.
We may pause sending or suspend an account that causes bounces, complaints, or abuse, to protect your customers and everyone else's email delivery.
Your information
You own the information you put into CloseQuotely: your customers, quotes, jobs and messages. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to share it with us.
Quotes and acceptances
CloseQuotely records when a customer accepts a quote, the name they typed, and the time. The agreement for the work is between you and your customer. We don't take part in it and aren't responsible for the prices, the work, or payment between you.
Plans and billing
The free plan has the limits shown on our pricing. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We will tell you before we change prices.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, read other businesses' information, overload it, or resell it without our permission.
The service
CloseQuotely is in early access and changes often. We work to keep it available and your information safe, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will never be interrupted or error-free. Keep your own records of anything critical. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using CloseQuotely at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account closes, we delete its information as our privacy policy describes.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use CloseQuotely after that means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email [email protected].
